Thali is a midlife psychologist and has been practising privately for ten years. She holds Masters Degrees in both Clinical and Analytical (Jungian) Psychology.
Thali specialises in assisting adults from around 30 through to 65, with skills well-placed to assist those who have experienced early relational complex trauma (emotional/psychological neglect, abuse, childhood abandonment, early grief). Symptoms associated with such trauma typically emerge in life transitions (coupling, starting a family – conceiving, birthing, parenting, empty-nesting – and midlife), as well as the work ‘family’ environment.
Thali emphasises relationship and emotional acceptance and takes an ‘experientially encouraging’ approach. The aim is to forge a deeper, kinder relatedness to self, where gentle curiosity and acceptance replaces self-judgement. Thali works closely with patients to allow them a deeper understanding of their inner processes, psychological drivers, defences, and patterns – to craft a healthier sense of psychological agency.
